OK, so I have TWO things to share today!!  And both are pretty exciting!  First is a special for the end of summer.  Its already on Facebook, but I wanted to post it here as well:

Its July… its the middle of summer… we live in Alabama… AND ITS HOT! In honor of the HOT summer, Perfectly Imperfect Photography has a hot deal going on right now until August 1st!

Book you fall session (September, October, November) NOW and your sitting fee is only FIFTY DOLLARS!! (that’s half off of my normal sitting fee!). You can use this special on family portraits, babies, children, maternity, engagement, senior po…rtraits, HUGE family pictures(great grandparents included), WHATEVER YOU WANT! (except for weddings…).

OK, on to announcement number two.  I have several baby plan clients whose year with me will be coming to a close.  I was thinking of how sad that made me, I’ve been photographing these babies every three months for almost a year!  I’m not ready to see them go, and want to keep you (my clients that is) for a long time!  SOO  I’ve set up a program for the toddler years!  With out further ado, Perfectly Imperfect Photography’s “The Toddler Years”-

You’ve finished your belly to baby plan, you have gorgeous images to document your little one’s first year!  But now what?  Perfectly Imperfect Photography has the perfect set up to continue your portraiture journey and make sure every milestone is captured!  Pick from these great options:

Year Two:  $295

This includes a photoshoot at age 18months, 2 years, AND a full family session at anytime in the same year. You also get a 10×13 print of your choice from each of the child’s sessions and an 11×14 of your choice from the family session (prints are worth $110).  Half of this is due one month before the 18 month session, and the other half is due one month before the 2 year session (in order to hold your date).

Years Three, Four, and Five:  $175 per year

For each year you get a session on or near your child’s birthday, a full family session at the time of your choice AND a 10×13 enlargement!  (You can choose an album of 4×6 prints from each year instead of your 10×13).  The fee is due two months before your child’s birthday (in order to hold your spot) OR at your family session depending when you schedule it.

Album of the Toddler years: $200

A custom designed hardcover photobook with pictures from age 2-5.  We will work on this together and choose your favorite images and choose colors and layouts together!   OR you can allow me creative reign to design it for you.  This is an awesome keepsake to give your child later in life, give to grandparents, and to display in your home.

Add a child:

Have an older child?  Want to add him/her to your toddler years plan?  To include a session on or around their birthday and a 10×13 print of your choice, simply add $60 to your package!

Facebook Fan Mini Sessions!- Huntsville Photographer

I will be at these locations on the following days shooting 40 min. sessions for all people scheduled.

June 10th- Big Spring Park in Downtown Huntsville. This location offers amazing classic portraits in a comfortable easy to find park here in town. Times for Thursday’s sessions: 4:30 and 5:10

June 11th- Courthouse Square in Downtown Huntsville. This location is great for urban styled family portraits AND senior portraits. We will probably venture into a couple of alleys and neat little nooks and crannies at this location. Times for Friday’s sessions: 4:30 and 5:10

June 12th- Green Mountain (Madison County Nature Trail). This location is gorgeous and green. And perfect for the outdoor oriented family and for senior portraits. (I’ve even shot baby photos there!) Times for Saturday’s sessions: 9:00AM, 4:30PM, and 5:10PM

June 13th- Monte Sano State Park. This location is an awesome place for ANY picture, engagement, family, senior, children, babies, whatever!! Times for Sunday’s sessions: 9:00AM and 4:30PM

June 14th- Bridgestreet Town Center. Again, this location is great for anything, but I love it for couple pictures and seniors! Times for Monday’s session: 9:30 (if more people want Bridgestreet I’ll do one afternoon session).

Mini sessions are $50 and include your 40 minute session, a gallery of 25-30 images from your session that you can order from for two weeks AND a free 8×10 of your choice ($15 dollar value). You will also automatically recieve 10% off of your print order just for being a Facebook fan mini session participant.

I heart faces- Dramatic Black and White

Stumbled upon a really awesome website today, its called I Heart Faces

Each week they have a photo challenge and I think it would be fun for me to enter when I can!! Plus there are links to HUNDREDS of other photographers for me to look at and learn from!  LOVE IT.  SO, here’s my entry for the contest:

I chose this picture because I definitely think its a dramatic b/w!  She is gorgeous first off! (Thanks Chelsea!) And the sun was illuminating the row of windows behind her, we were on a downtown street but everything disappeared besides her. It was an awesome day of shooting and this shot is one of my favs.

Can’t wait to see everyone elses dramatic b/w!  Maybe I’ll have to participate every week!

Special 1- Book your summer session now (can be anytime in May, June, July, or August) and your sitting fee will only be $75! Sitting fee should be mailed by April 2nd. I only take a certain amount of clients per month and summer will book quickly so HURRY!

Ellaphante Designs August 2009- Huntsville Fashion Photographer

Its time for the monthly showcase of Heather’s new stuff.  Heather is the designer and seamstress for Ellaphante Fashions  and each month I’ll be working with her to photograph her newest items and take some newer pictures of older items!  This item is an adorable purple shirt which i love and will want when i’m no longer pregnant!

Our model was great to work with and super cute too!!

This shot doesn’t show off the shirt, but I love it anyways.  She’s very beautiful.

We found a parking garage and Heather and I both LOVED this hallway:

Here’s something that might surprise you:

LOOK AT MY BELLY!  It’s getting bigger and bigger!  My friend Harrison came along today and he took the photographs of me.  Becky was sick and Harrison wanted to try out some fashion photography.  He did pretty good if you ask me!

This next one should show you how hot it was… we ended up being there to late in the morning… pregnant lady was burning up!

OK, so Harrison saw this metal tube and said I should sit on it… haha, he’s never been pregnant before!! I didn’t see how I was going to get up there.  But with some help I did it, and then I relaxed:

Ellaphante Designs July 09- Hunstville Fashion Photographer

This is Heather.  She’s the designer for Ms. Ella Phante’s Custom Fit Clothing.   We went out yesterday and the day before photographing her newest designs.  I take detailed photos of each item for her, but today I’m only going to show off a few of each design.  Don’t worry heather the detailed photos are coming your way!  We are trading clothes for photos once a month so she has updated photos for her shop and I have new handmade clothes!! WAHOO!!

Friends- Atlanta Fashion Photographer

A couple of weeks ago while I was in Huntsville I met up with my bestest friend in the world (Rebekah).  I’ve known her since I was 8 years old, she was my maid of honor and has been through everything with me.  The legs in the picture above are Becky’s legs.  The cutie in the green shoes is her other best friend Heather.  I’ve heard ALOT about Heather over the last few years.  She used to live in Maryland and Becky would rave about her friend Heather from Maryland.  WELL I have also been stalking a shop on Etsy.  I love love love the clothes this girl made.  When Becky went to Malayasia in May I found out that Heather from Maryland AND the lady who makes awesome clothes are the same person!! AND she was moving to Huntsville!!!  SO, we finally met, and the three of us took a nice walk around Green Mountain before Becky and I modeled some of Heather’s new clothes for her:

The girls and I had lots of fun walking around Green Mountain.  It is one of my favorite places in Huntsville and Heather had never been there.

There’s my Becky!!  I didn’t get to many pictures of her.  But isn’t she beautiful! I love her.

Speaking of beautiful, my new friend Heather is pretty gorgeous herself!  It was fun to watch them together and to see how the three of us just kind of fell together like it had been three of us all along.  Becky picks good friends!
