In June I was the photographer at a beautiful wedding.  One of the bridesmaids at that wedding was Clayli:

And when she told me she was pregnant with twins, I did not believe her!!  She looked awesome and had so much energy.  And it was obvious to me even in the short amount of time I saw them together that her and her husband loved each other very very much.  And they were so excited when they found out their twins were two sweet little girls!  After the wedding we kept in touch, we made plans for her maternity session and she liked talking to someone who already had two little ones!

But then Clayli had to go on bedrest… and then she had to go to UAB to be on hospital bedrest.  She was not very far along.  And on one fateful night their lives were changed forever.  In the words of Clayli and her husband: “On August 17, 2010 our lives were forever changed by the arrival of our 25 week twin girls.”    Abby was only 1lb 3oz and Addy was 1lb 4oz.  Tiny little miracles.

You can only imagine the stress and fear that followed.  And the love and joy that they came into the world safely.  The girls are now a month old and both doing well.  Its been a rollercoaster of a month, but things are leveling out for the girls and their parents.  I’ve followed their story and fallen in love with the girls and been AMAZED by the strength of their parents.  I decided I couldn’t stand by and watch anymore!  I want to do something for them… they deserve it, they are giving everything they have to their beautiful girls and the girls themselves are obviously as strong as their parents and beating ALL the odds.

SO, here’s the plan.  Lets raise some money and do something for Clayli and her husband and their girls!  Here’s what you do:

OK, on to announcement number two.  I have several baby plan clients whose year with me will be coming to a close.  I was thinking of how sad that made me, I’ve been photographing these babies every three months for almost a year!  I’m not ready to see them go, and want to keep you (my clients that is) for a long time!  SOO  I’ve set up a program for the toddler years!  With out further ado, Perfectly Imperfect Photography’s “The Toddler Years”-

You’ve finished your belly to baby plan, you have gorgeous images to document your little one’s first year!  But now what?  Perfectly Imperfect Photography has the perfect set up to continue your portraiture journey and make sure every milestone is captured!  Pick from these great options:

Year Two:  $295

This includes a photoshoot at age 18months, 2 years, AND a full family session at anytime in the same year. You also get a 10×13 print of your choice from each of the child’s sessions and an 11×14 of your choice from the family session (prints are worth $110).  Half of this is due one month before the 18 month session, and the other half is due one month before the 2 year session (in order to hold your date).

Years Three, Four, and Five:  $175 per year

Third time and still oh so wonderful!- Huntsville Family Photographer

Spring is booked! (minus one more April session). Summer is coming! It’s time to announce my specials for the summer months!

Special 1- Book your summer session now (can be anytime in May, June, July, or August) and your sitting fee will only be $75! Sitting fee should be mailed by April 2nd. I only take a certain amount of clients per month and summer will book quickly so HURRY!

Mobile Travel Sessions Are Here!- Huntsville family photographer

Its that time of year again! Mobile Spring Travel Sessions are here!

I will be in Mobile the weekend of April 22nd-25th. I’m taking 12 sessions ( I have room for two more, but ONLY if those twelve book up completely). Here’s what ya need to know:

How Much:
Session fee for these sessions is $60 and this includes my travel, time spent shooting, editing and processing of 30-50 images, and an online gallery for you to order from for two weeks. Each session is one hour and can be a family, just the children, a couple, or even senior portraits!

This time around I have some special travel session packages. For info on those email me! If you order a travel session package your session fee will be $25*! *Travel session packages are paid for ahead of time*

The one that almost didn’t happen!- Huntsville Family Photographer

This session almost didnt happen.  These little guys got sick (and so did their momma) the day before I arrived in mobile!  Mom did NOT want to cancel, especially when she bought those ADORABLE dresses!  But Sunday morning mom called me and said they felt good enough for the thirty minute session!  I’m so glad too!  This family is a returning client, and one of my favorites to photograph.  SO young and happy!

Those twin two year olds have gotten SO big since last time!  They are talking and running (and arguing!). I love it.

Mommy and her little man, the little man that will steal the heart of millions of girls one day!  He is so cute.

And this little bit is her momma all over again (according to mom anyways!).  She is happy and fun and FULL of spunk!

Big sister won me over last time, and still has a special place in my heart.  She has a very sweet demeanor and she challenges me some too (which I love). I was very happy with this next shot!  She looked RIGHT at me, which didn’t happen last time.

One more of little man because he is so precious:

It was COLD outside but he insisted on playing in the fountain.  Not to long after this shot everyone’s cheeks turned red and everyone started feeling a little tired.  And we were done! I was so happy it worked out.  Thanks again for sharing your kids with me Ms L.

Twin Sisters- Huntsville Toddler Photographer

SO, I didn’t post this the next day like I had planned… BUT I’m posting it now right?  Anyways, here’s those twin two and half year old’s I promised you.  They were loads of fun and I loved photographing them.  Here’s one of the girls:
