WELL, here’s another one of my beautiful sisters!  I think they’ve all three had their day in the spot light now!  This one is Savanah who just graduated from high school.  She needed some headshots to send off to some people and I thought I’d share them here!

Here’s a more smiley one!

And a VERY smiley one!

So, I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted.  It has been a crazy couple of weeks around here.  I was sick, then Lawson was sick, THEN I had to go to Mobile for travel sessions!  Busy, busy, busy!  But I’m back, and I have several wonderful sessions to sneak peak for you.  Session number one belongs to the brother and sister pictured above.  I met those two and their super sweet parents at Cathedral Square in downtown Mobile.  It was a beautiful location and made for beautiful photos!  First we’ll show off little sister:

013

Mom requested that photo, she wanted lots of column and vines above her daughter.  She just graduated from high school, so mom wanted family photos done at this milestone in their lives.  Their babies are growing up!  Congrats girly!

002

Isn’t she gorgeous!  I love the red hair.  Here’s one of my personal favs of this pretty lady:

010

The gate and iron fence in front of the Cathedral made a great background with her white dress, I just love it!  Now on to big brother:

018

He was very relaxed and easy to photograph.  Gotta love his red hair too!  Here’s that gate again:

022

And a close up:

025

I hope mom likes these photos of her grown up young man!   Here’s a couple of dad with the kids,

Daddy and his girl:

Father and son:

Now mom and son:

And mom and little sister:

They are a very happy family and they were a joy to photograph!

Aren’t they pretty!  Thanks guys for all the fun!  Hope you enjoy your sneak peak, and I hope you love your prints!

Friends- Atlanta Fashion Photographer

002

A couple of weeks ago while I was in Huntsville I met up with my bestest friend in the world (Rebekah).  I’ve known her since I was 8 years old, she was my maid of honor and has been through everything with me.  The legs in the picture above are Becky’s legs.  The cutie in the green shoes is her other best friend Heather.  I’ve heard ALOT about Heather over the last few years.  She used to live in Maryland and Becky would rave about her friend Heather from Maryland.  WELL I have also been stalking a shop on Etsy.  I love love love the clothes this girl made.  When Becky went to Malayasia in May I found out that Heather from Maryland AND the lady who makes awesome clothes are the same person!! AND she was moving to Huntsville!!!  SO, we finally met, and the three of us took a nice walk around Green Mountain before Becky and I modeled some of Heather’s new clothes for her:

001

The girls and I had lots of fun walking around Green Mountain.  It is one of my favorite places in Huntsville and Heather had never been there.

004

There’s my Becky!!  I didn’t get to many pictures of her.  But isn’t she beautiful! I love her.

003

Speaking of beautiful, my new friend Heather is pretty gorgeous herself!  It was fun to watch them together and to see how the three of us just kind of fell together like it had been three of us all along.  Becky picks good friends!

006

Last shot before we went downtown to model:

005

Now Heather is very talented.  I love all the clothes that she makes.  She is going to start making maternity clothes (WAHOO!) which means she can make some small enough for me!  Here’s the skirt she made for Becky, but is also going to be for sale in her shop:

007

Here’s the stars up close:

008

Here’s my favorite of Becky all day:

009

She is so pretty!!   BUT she is not usually so sultry or serene:

011

THAT’S THE REAL BECKY!  Here’s the shirt she brought for me to model:

012

It will also be for sale in her shop.  I love the green. OH and we found this great red paint splatter for me to stand next to!

013

And here’s the lacey heart up close:

014

So needless to say it was a fun afternoon.  I met Heather, saw Becky, and Heather got some shots she can use on her website!  Be sure to check it out ok??  Here’s one last one of Heather, I just like it:

010

She made the scissors shirt that she is wearing.  Its already for sale in her shop.  Be sure to check her shop out! Thanks again girls.  It was fun! Hope you enjoy the pictures.

So this job was one of those photoshoots that was just FUN!  Its been three years since I went to my senior prom, now my sister has gone to hers!  I made a trip to Huntsville AL to photograph Savanah, her date, and four of her other friends and their dates!   Here’s a shot of everyone:

We had them face the water to take a picture from the back and afterward they just kinda stood there hanging out for a minute and I got that shot! I think its awesome because they are so happy and real!  Last one:

savanahmeredithcd

I think that shot is beautiful!  They both look gorgeous.  Not to mention Savanah and Meredith have been friends forever!  So I hope they love this picture and I hope they stay close friends! (which i’m sure they will)

As far as I know they had a really good time after we were done too, dinner and prom- who wouldnt have fun!  Thanks guys for letting me follow you around!  You looked amazing, every single one of you!

NOW, check back later today or maybe tomorrow (depending on how much I manage to get done while getting ready for this weekend) to see that mommy son photoshoot!

Remember my theory that teenagers are easier to photograph in groups, I still believe that!  Here’s one more of each:

One day after this weekend I’ll put Ashley up, she was with me and the boys as we took a day to search around Carrollton for great picture spots.  Thanks for the fun day guys!! Ashley your next!

Back in Action- West Atlanta Senior Portraits Photographer

4 04 2009

We are home!! I had a wonderful time and wish i could do that everyday!  BUT I’m also really glad to be back to the normal day to day thing (and i’m glad to be back to my baby boy!!) .

The last few days have been devoted to teenagers.  Its spring break here so I have been photographing teenagers ever since I got home.  Over the next few days I will be posting some of everyone of them on here!  Today’s lucky winners are Rylan and Elizabeth:

007-web

I decided while I was doing Rylans shoot and happened to grab a few of Elizabeth that you should always bring more than one teenager along for a shoot.  They keep each other relaxed and happy which in turn makes my job easier!  There will be more of Elizabeth by next week, we are doing her actual shoot TODAY!!  But here’s a sneak peak at her beautifulness:

021-web

Look at those sparkling blues.  She is so pretty!   We took a walk through the woods and found this spot on the railroad tracks thats just in the middle of the woods, no town noises or people to be found.  It was awesome:

015-web

Now on to the Rylan:

010web

Again…beautiful!  Although I might be partial to this one, she is my younger sister (one of them!).  But seriously, gorgeous right:

003-web

OH! and check this out:

013-web

Probably one of my favorites from all day, I love the railroad tracks behind her and the overcast day was perfect for setting the mood in this shot.  Plus I love that she wore her red converses.   And dont worry, she does smile:

027-web

Thanks girls for a fun afternoon in the drizzly almost rain.  It made for some fun pictures that I think your parents will love!

Come back tomorrow for more teenagers, there are three left…plus the lovely Elizabeth some more!
